The weightlifting myth

One question that keeps popping up from new clients and prospects that really gets under my skin: “Will lifting weights make me bulky?”

Let’s think about this logically. Buying a car doesn’t turn you into a professional racecar driver. So why would lifting weights magically transform you into a bodybuilder?

Strength training doesn’t make you bulky.

Do you know what will make you bulky?

Eating too much and not exercising enough 🙂

Also, the benefits of strength training go well beyond how your body looks and how much it weighs. We’re talking about bone health, posture, blood sugar levels, cardiovascular health, resistance to disease and injury prevention.

So focus on getting stronger for improved health and well-being. With the right guidance, a balanced approach to strength training can help you reach your goals without the fear of “bulking up.”
