Super Shakes

We already know all the benefits of getting adequate protein, including boosting our metabolism, maintaining and even increasing muscle mass, and reducing body fat.

But what can we do if we’re always on the go and can’t seem to get an adequate serving of protein with each meal?

That’s where Super Shakes come into play.

A Super Shake is an easy, convenient way to get a serving of high-quality protein … and whatever other goodness you’d like to include!

All you need is a good blender and a few ingredients. Here’s an example of my go-to Super Shake:

8 ounces milk (almond milk of you don’t tolerate dairy milk well)

1 scoop whey protein powder (It’s up to you which brand. If you’d like to know which one I use and recommend to all my clients, hit reply.)

1/3 cup frozen strawberries

1/3 cup frozen blueberries

2 tablespoons almond butter

1 fist-sized serving spinach

Blend it all together and take it with you on the go for a power-packed meal filled with plenty of high-quality protein, not to mention veggies, fruit and healthy fats!

Give Super Shakes a try and let me know what you think. And if you make one you really like, shoot me a reply with the recipe so I can try it, too!
