Your Health and Fitness Dreams Need This

I’ve seen people accomplish some truly inspiring things.

They’ve dreamt of building great body, living healthy lives and having profound impacts.

Then they accomplished those dreams.

In fact, I think most of us have our own dreams.

Dreams of doing big things, get the healthy and fit body of their dreams, building successful businesses, earning substantial incomes, and even changing the world.

However, very few of us ever accomplish our dreams.

So why is that?

What is the difference between those who merely dream and those who achieve their vision?

Everything you want in life starts with an idea.

In other words, a dream.

But as the great Napoleon Hill once said, “The most intelligent man living cannot succeed in accumulating money – nor any other undertaking – without plans which are practical and workable.”

You need a plan.

Your plan serves as your GPS to get to that destination…that goal which originated as a dream.

It provides clarity as to where you’re going…

…and clarity as to how you’ll get there.

Then you simply have to execute the plan.

What’s interesting is that I create a plan like this for my clients on an almost daily basis.

They tell me what they want to achieve and I map out a plan to help them get there and then coach them to execute the plan.

It’s their roadmap to success.

But as busy professionals, we often neglect developing and following our own roadmap.

We spend our time reacting to what’s in front of us, trying to cobble together this tactic and that in hopes of seeing some improvement or even feeling like our body is running us instead of the opposite.

We have a vision for where we want to go health and fitness wise, but we’re doing little to ever move toward that target.

And a few even have a plan, but it’s either too complex to execute or it doesn’t actually work in reality.

A plan that addresses only the professional side of your life is bound to negatively impact the personal and health side.

As an busy professional, the two are intertwined.

Spend more time on one and you’re spending less time on the other.

So we must craft your plan in a way that will move you toward what you want both personally and professionally.

And we need to simplify it as best we can, so we can focus on executing it.

We can begin taking small steps on a daily basis to move toward where we want to go…and before long we’ll get there.

But, just as on any journey to a faraway destination, without a map, we’re not likely to get there.
