I came across a fascinating study recently and couldn’t wait to share it with you.
At Ball State University, they conducted a 12-week strength training program with two groups of 10 men. Both groups started on an even playing field, following the same exercise routine with identical rest periods and frequency.
Here’s the kicker: one group ended up gaining 32% more upper-body strength and a whopping 47% more lower-body strength than the other.
The only difference? The more successful group had a personal trainer overseeing their workouts.
Pretty cool, right?
But what’s truly AMAZING is this: Both groups performed the identical exercise routine. The sole role of the trainer was to provide motivation and instill confidence. It turns out having that extra push encouraged participants to lift heavier weights and push themselves harder than those going at it alone.
Now, you already know that a fantastic coach isn’t just about motivation. They can design personalized workout programs, educate you on nutrition, and help you navigate injuries. So, if you’re serious about achieving the best results possible, hiring a coach is a smart move.
I might be a bit biased, but I’ve had my own personal coach since 2018, and I can honestly say it’s the best investment I’ve ever made. 😉
Everyone does better with a coach … even coaches!
