Do you want to know some of the deepest secrets your your health coach will never tell you?
Here they are:
1. They Don’t Need Abs To Help You
Even though some coaches may be in shape—it doesn’t mean that your coach needs to have washboard abs to help YOU get in shape. Although the way a coach looks may increase their sales, it doesn’t have anything to do with how they can help you reach your goals. Remember, a coach’s job is to get YOU the results you’re looking for—and not to get themselves in shape.
2. Health Coaches Aren’t Life Coaches
Although you may tell your coach everything, their job first and foremost, is to get you in shape. Although they can be a great person to lean on, they are not a life coach and shouldn’t need to give you advice that isn’t related to your health, your nutrition or your fitness program.
3. Your Success Is Important To Them
Your coach wants you to be successful. They want you to reach all your goals, and they work hard to make it happen. That’s why they get disappointed when you eat junk and don’t exercise in between sessions. They can only do so much before you need to take matters into your own hands. Just remember, a little outside effort can really go a long way.
4. Not All Coaches Are Certified
Not all the coaches you meet are going to be certified. There are a lot of gyms that hire people who may not have the credentials needed to work with you to help you reach your goals. Always make sure you’re working with someone who can show you their credentials. It will prevent a lot of headaches, or even time missed due to injuries.
If you’ve hired a coach, then you already know what they bring to the table. Someone to talk to…motivate you…and help you reach your goals…this is why people often hire a coach. But these 4 secrets, which most trainers won’t tell you, will give you a different perspective next time you’re training, or even at the gym watching a personal trainer work.
And remember, the number one job any health coach has is to design the best and most effective workout to help you reach your goals. If you’re not sure how to get started…or even what you should be doing…then get in touch with me—and I can help you plan the right approach, so you’re not wasting your time at the gym.
